We’re on the lookout for reliable, enthusiastic, and customer-focused individuals to join our team for an exciting new project. As a Coffee Kart Specialist, you’ll be serving hot drinks and light refreshments to passengers as they begin their travels bringing energy, warmth, and top-notch service to their journey alongside daily management of our team and karts including general staffing requirements and stock control.

Working airside at one of the UK’s busiest airports, situated in both terminals, you’ll be part of a buzzing, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You will be meeting new people from all over the world, delivering exceptional service, and working in a lively setting.

Position: Coffee Kart Supervisor

Contract: Full Time

Hours: Earliest Start = 04:30, Latest Finish = 17:30 (subject to change)

Hourly Rate: £15.00 per hour (Weekly Pay)

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Serving freshly ground coffee and hot drinks to passengers/ customers airside, ensuring speed and a friendly approach
• Handling of card transactions and operate the till
• Having great knowledge of products, answering customer questions
• Ensuring the Coffee Kart is clean, well-stocked and presentable always
• Follow hygiene, food safety and airport security standards
• Engage with passengers to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere consistently
• Assist with and be responsible for the set-up and close-down procedures
• Prepare and maintain staff rosters
• Monitor stock levels and complete daily checks in line with food safety requirements
• Identify issues and report or arrange repairs
• Support, supervise and train staff always leading by example

What We’re Looking For:

• A positive, proactive attitude with great communication skills
• Experience in a similar role (Barista, Café, Hospitality, Catering, etc.)
• Confident working both independently and as part of a small team
• Previous experience of managing staff
• Able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
• Able to start early (as early as 04:30) and travel to London Gatwick Airport reliably
• Eligibility to obtain a Full Airport ID Pass (including a 5-year background check & DBS)
