One Resourcing Ltd are proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client, Worldwide Flight Services (WFS), for the position of Cargo Warehouse Driver at London Gatwick Airport.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading global ground handling and cargo services provider, working within a fast-paced airport cargo operation. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the safe, secure, and efficient handling of import and export cargo.

Pay Rate: £14.00 – £18.00

Shifts and hours: 4 days on 2 days off between 06:00 – 14:00

Contract: Weekly pay during the temporary-to-permanent period.

Key Responsibilities

As a Cargo Warehouse Agent, your duties will include:

Loading and unloading import and export cargo within the cargo warehouse.

Building and breaking down cargo pallets and Unit Load Devices (ULDs).

Delivering and collecting import and export cargo between aircraft stands and the cargo warehouse using a tug and dollies.

Safely operating airport ground support equipment in accordance with company and airport procedures.

Operating a counterbalance forklift truck to move cargo and freight throughout the warehouse.

Conducting cargo acceptance, sorting, scanning, and storage activities.

Ensuring all cargo is handled in compliance with airline, airport, and security regulations.

Completing operational paperwork and using warehouse systems as required.

Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.

Following all Health & Safety, Security, and Aviation regulations at all times.

Supporting operational requirements during busy periods and peak flight schedules.

Requirements

Essential

· Full UK Driving Licence. (Required for Airside Driving Permit)

· Ability to obtain and maintain an airport ID Pass. ( 5 year security background check including a DBS Check)

· Access to your own vehicle due to the location and shift times.

· Good level of spoken and written English.

· Ability to work safely in a physically demanding environment.

Desirable

· Previous experience operating airport vehicles, including tugs and dollies.

· Previous experience working within an airport cargo operation.

· Knowledge of aviation security procedures.

· Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.

· Previous warehouse experience.

· Previous air freight, cargo, logistics, or airside operational experience.
