Office Clerk Agent – World Flight Services – Gatwick Airport

One Resourcing Ltd are delighted to be working in partnership with Worldwide Flight Services at Gatwick Airport and are currently looking to recruit an Office Clerk Agent.

Working a 4 on – 4 off basis starting with two day shifts followed by two night shifts.

MAIN JOB OBJECTIVE

We’re looking for motivated individuals to support the Lead Agent and Office Supervisor in delivering high-quality service and meeting all airline Service Level Agreements (SLAs) at London Gatwick.

You’ll be part of a dynamic team of Office Agents, handling day-to-day tasks in a fast-paced cargo environment. This is a great opportunity to work in one of the UK’s busiest airports and be at the heart of international logistics.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Processing of import and export operations for multiple airline customers.
  • Using Customer operating systems to complete export and import flights
  • Booking in / serving drivers from freight forwarders / airlines / trucking companies at Reception
  • Ensuring all Customs and CAA regulations are adhered to.
  • Dealing with customer queries regarding their shipments and report any Internal or Customer issues to the Office Supervisor.
  • Ensuring processing of flights are kept within timings of Customer airlines Service Level agreements
  • Dangerous Goods checks as and when Dangerous Goods certification (Cat 6) is achieved.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ideally a working knowledge of the airfreight handling business and awareness of customers’ requirements and procedures, for both Imports and Exports.
  • Experience processing flights for airline customers would be desirable.
  • Excellent team player who displays dependability, flexibility and initiative.
  • Able to demonstrate strong customer service and problem resolution skills.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills in order to effectively communicate with staff and customers’ face-to-face, over the phone and in writing.
  • Good administration, PC and keyboard skills
  • CargoSpot experience highly desirable but not essential

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £31,020.00 per year
